Profile
Dr Stephen Mulligan is a Consultant Haematologist involved in clinical, laboratory and research haematology. He is in clinical practice at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) with an emphasis on leukaemia and lymphoma.
He is Consultant Haematologist to Specialist Diagnostic Services Pty Ltd and Head of the Department of Haematology .
Stephen has a special interest in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL), lymphoproliferative disorders and immunophenotyping. These were the subject of his PhD and post-doctoral studies as well as ongoing research interest and projects at Specialist Diagnostic Services Pty Ltd, RNSH and University of Sydney.
Stephen is Principle Investigator for numerous clinical trials in CLL and is a member of several CLL Advisory Boards both national and international.
He is the Founder and Chairman of the Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia Australian Research Consortium (CLLARC).
