History
Laverty Pathology is a part of a network of Pathology Laboratories operating throughout Australia. Our organisation has evolved through the acquisition of four major pathology practices - Sugerman Pathology in 1995, Hampson Pathology in 1996, Macquarie Pathology and Dr Colin Laverty and Associates in 1998.
With the integration of each of these laboratories into a single diagnostic services company Laverty Pathology is now one of the largest private pathology practices in New South Wales and the ACT.
Our 'state of the art' laboratory at North Ryde was developed as the central laboratory for the Laverty Pathology operations. From this North Ryde base the organisation provides an integrated network of local pathologists and laboratories throughout New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
Laverty Pathology provides medical diagnostic services to private and public hospitals in Sydney and regional areas in New South Wales and the ACT. Additionally, services to community based patients are provided with over 200 Accredited Collection Centres and a network of 18 laboratories across these regions.
In addition to our reputation for high ethical standards and pathologist expertise, we strive for continuous improvements, new technology and a professional partnership with the medical community we serve.
