Profile
Adrian is passionately committed to quality assurance, scientific excellence, and accountability in the delivery of medical services to the public. He is currently the Deputy Medical Director of Laverty Pathology.
Adrian is a specialist Histopathologist and Cytopathologist. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1989. He has published PCR-based molecular biology research using a grant obtained from the Edinburgh University Medical Faculty Cancer Research Fund and other papers in dermatology and general anatomical pathology. He has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia since 1996, and is currently the Honorary Secretary of the Australasian Dermatopathology Society.
Adrian holds a First Class Honours degree in law from the University of New England and is a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He has particular knowledge of and expertise in large and complex legal and medical systems, processes and laboratory management. Adrian acts as a voluntary assessor for the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Legal Medicine.
