Dr Patwardhan's training was gained at the Rochester General Hospital, New York USA, and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC.
Subsequently he has been involved in private practice in Sydney and has been a member of histopathology staff at western Sydney area health service for many years including appointments at Parramatta and Mt Druitt Hospitals.
His special interests are in gynaecological and general cytology and general surgical pathology.
