Dr Martha Lehman graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad del Valle, Colombia, South America in 1994. Martha completed her training in Anatomical Pathology and Clinical Pathology in Texas, USA and her Fellowship in cytopathology in Texas, USA.
Dr Lehman's areas of special interest include Cytopathology and Gastrointestinal Pathology and performance of Fine Needle Aspirations.
She is a member of The Royal College of Pathologists Australasia, Australian Society of Cytology, The American Society for Clinical Pathology, College of American Pathologists and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
Dr Lehman joined Laverty Pathology after immigrating from the USA early in 2009.
