About Dr Ping Han
Dr Ping Han graduated from the University of Sydney (MBBS) in 1969. In 1974 he was awarded the degree of PhD by thesis on platelet function in coronary artery disease, John Curtin School of Medical Research. Ping completed his vocational training in haematology at the Sydney Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital in 1978 with experience in the diagnosis and management of thrombosis, McMaster University, Canada. From 1982-1990, Ping was the Associate Professor and Head of Haematology at National University Hospital, Singapore. And in 1990-2002, he was the Head of Haematology, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide. Ping is currently the Laboratory haematologist at Laverty Pathology.
