Biography

Dr Jock Simpson graduated from the University of New South Wales, with Honours, in 2008. He undertook physician training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and subsequently haematology training at Wollongong Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital (Darlinghurst), The St George Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, and the Calvary Mater Newcastle. Upon awarded Fellowship the Royal College of Pathologists Australasia, and the Royal Australian College of Physicians, Jock undertook a fellowship in Clinical Trials in the Haematology Unit, Calvary Mater Newcastle. Dr Simpson’s provides clinical and laboratory haematology care the Port Macquarie Base Hospital, where he provides care to those with both malignant and non-malignant haematologic disorders.
