Biography

Dr Richard Start graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney (MBBS). He completed his vocational training in Haematology at St George Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. And was admitted to Fellowship at Hospital St. Louis in the laboratory of Bone Marrow Biology and Bone Marrow Transplant, Paris. In 1992, Richard began his role as Senior Haematology registrar at St George Hospital. The following year he was admitted to Fellowship of Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Currently, Dr Stark provides a clinical haematology service to Port Macquarie Hospital and consults privately on the North Coast of NSW.
