Dr Riton Das

Dr. Riton Das is a clinical and laboratory haematologist working at Laverty pathology since 2015. He provides consultation and treatment for both low grade malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders and deals with reporting Blood film, bone marrow biopsy, Hb EPG, coagulation tests and blood flowcytometry.

Dr. Das completed his training at Liverpool and Westmead hospitals in 2015 and began working at Port Macquarie Base Hospital and holds fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of physicians and The Royal College of pathologists of Australasia.

He is passionate about providing the most up-to-date and evidence based care to his patients. He prides himself on effective communication, and going the extra mile to provide best possible care by maintaining communication with both patients and referring doctors. He currently consults and treats from Icon Cancer Centre Revesby.

Low grade non Hodgkin Lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplasia, iron deficiency, iron overload, CML, CLL, Polycythemia, thrombocytosis, ITP, cytopenias, DVT & PE, investigations of bleeding and bruising.
